About the Westin New Orleans Canal Place

Winding through the heart of New Orleans is the majestic Mississippi River. At the core of the city, it is the root of all growth bringing life, soul and heart to New Orleans. Due to its proximity to the river, New Orleans is often affectionately referred to as The Crescent City. Coupled with the climate, the result is a verdant environment that will be celebrated within the interiors of The Westin New Orleans Canal Place, emphasizing Westin’s tenet of design, the Biophilic Principal. New Orleans is considered by many the most unique city in North America. Its distinct architecture, the music vibe, and the renowned cuisine that celebrates the multicultural history and population come together to create the city known as The Big Easy. This fusion of culture has created New Orleans’s own distinct identity.

The design for The Westin New Orleans Canal Place celebrates the majesty and beauty of the Mississippi, and the city that surrounds it, New Orleans, providing guests with a unique experience during their stay. The interiors of The Westin New Orleans Canal Place will acknowledge the past, present and future of the New Orleans by engaging the five senses through a delicate balance of the use of pattern, color, texture, and form.

Drawing from her 44 years of International Hospitality Design experience, Robynne leads the design and direction of each project from concept development to FF&E and base building material selection, ensuring an exceptional interior, designed within budget and produced on time.
